Vasuki Prasad dedicates his time and efforts into analyses, discussions and solutions that allow airlines sustainable profitability. Based at Singapore, he presently is the marketing director for a commercial aircraft manufacturer.
Vasuki's aircraft sales efforts in Asia led to LOIs for 55 aircraft of a then new aircraft program, 4 lease placements, and 1 new aircraft sale.
Before his career with the aircraft OEM, Vasuki was with Vistara, a joint venture between TATA and Singapore Airlines, as the head of commercial planning and analysis. After graduating with an engineering degree in electronics and communication, he started his career with Honeywell Aerospace and holds two US patents.
Vasuki’s blog on aircraft technical and performance eventually shifted focus to the airline business. This blog served as the bridge from a career in aerospace component design to a career in the airline industry.
Vasuki obtained his master’s in business administration in Aerospace and Aviation from Toulouse Business School.
